List of important wildlife awareness days
Tigers, elephants and rhinos are some of the world's most endangered species. It's important to raise awareness of the threat that illegal wildlife trade poses to them as well as what the aviation industry is doing to help.
World Wildlife Day is held on March 3 every year and presents a great opportunity for ROUTES partners to broadcast the important work they are doing to prevent wildlife trafficking through air transport.
As the world’s most trafficked mammal, this is an important day to broadcast commitment to keeping these incredible animals out of the skies and celebrate them for their worth alive.
World Environment Day and World Oceans Day 2020 provide opportunities for ROUTES partners to help raise awareness of wildlife and environmental conservation and show how action from the air transport sector is helping to ensure the survival of many of the world’s most iconic species.
