Training Resources Overview
To date, there have been limited transport sector initiatives to train airline and airport staff to respond to wildlife trafficking situations. Building on this experience and information, ROUTES has developed a range of training tools for staff working across the transport sector worldwide. These materials include:
- 30-minute e-learning courses (role-specific)
- Half-day workshop presentations (global & regional)
- One-hour awareness training presentations (global & regional)
- Toolbox talks (role-specific)
- Airport staff training videos
These materials are designed to enable companies to deliver training on wildlife trafficking for their staff and can be used or adapted free of charge. Sample PDF versions of the presentations can be downloaded from the links below. Accompanying training resources are also available in Spanish, French, and Mandarin translations.
